Shane Warne has been criticised by his fans for posting a topless selfie of his slim torso covered in bruises on Instagram.

The 44-year-old Aussie cricketer, who owes his bruises to an aggressive game of paint ball, wrote alongside the pic that the game hurt more than being hit by a fast bowler, News.com.au reported.

However, Warne's fans were quick to point out his drastic weight loss and many asked him to "bring his gut back" and "eat something".

Warne, who was famous for his love of beer and ciggie before he met his former fiance Liz Hurley, has been criticised for his lean figure in the past as well.
