Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Saturday said she was confident that the rally by Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi in the national capital tomorrow would be a success, and added that her party anticipated huge crowds at the event.

"This is the first rally in connection with the elections, before the elections, that Rahul ji is going to have here. So, we are expecting a very, very huge crowd," Dikshit said.

"There will be thousands and thousands of people because the arrangements, which have been made, has kept in mind thousands, and it is possible that the crowd reaches lakhs also. We have made all arrangements. We are confident that it will be a very successful rally," she added.

Sunday's rally, which will be held at Mangolpuri, is Rahul Gandhi's first address in the national capital with regard to the Congress' election campaign.

Rahul Gandhi's rally is likely to be compared to Bharatiya Janata Party's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi mega rally in Japanese Park in New Delhi, which was held on September 29.
