'Sherlock' star Andrew Scott set to play 'villain' in next James Bond film

Andrew Scott, who plays Moriarty in TV series Sherlock, has been roped in to play villain in the next James Bond movie, which has working title 'Bond 24.'

The 38-year-old will appear alongside returning cast members Daniel Craig, who plays the secret agent, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear and Naomie Harris along with Lea Seydoux, Dave Bautista and Christoph Waltz who are reported to be joining the cast, the Mirror reported.

The movie, directed by Sam Mendes, is set to be released in October 2015.
