'Sherlock' to return for 3rd season

Benedict Cumberbatch is set to return as the iconic Sherlock Holmes, in the spy series 'Sherlock' which will return for its third season.

The previous season ended with Holmes jumping to his death from a roof, but according to a minute-long trailer unveiled by the BBC, the viewers will now see the series take a dark turn, the Daily Express reported.

The iconic character played by Cumberbatch plans to surprise his doctor pal John Watson, played by British actor Martin Freeman, by turning up to their famous Baker Street residence.
