Shimla continues to receive heavy snowfall and showers.
The severe cold is causing immense problems to the people are most of whom are burning wood to keep themselves warm. Tea vendors are enjoying brisk business as a result of cold waves.
"The cold seems to be more this year compared to last year. It has become very difficult for us to commute on this snow covered roads. People are using bonfires and heaters to warm up in the cold chilly waves", a local resident told ANI.
Winters in Himachal seems to be staggered with the cold chilly waves, thus making the tourists their favorite spot. Thick layers of snow cover the roofs of the houses, block the roads. People are unable to move their vehicles from the thick snow.
