Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi here today and discussed issues pertaining to Madhya Pradesh as well as the country.
"We discussed several national and state issues as well as the current 5-year plan that is being implemented. The prime minister listened to all our issues patiently," said Chouhan.
"There is no question of difference in treatment with the state. Being a chief minister himself, he knows what all problems states go through, state chief ministers and prime ministers have to work together as a team," he said.
"There is a lot of excitement around and it will benefit the country. Also, it is a great honor for Madhya Pradesh and I thank Modi and all other leaders for this opportunity," he added.
