Simon Cowell and girlfriend Lauren Silverman have bought a new home in New York which is only a few blocks away from her former husband Andrew Silverman's house.
According to a source, 'The X Factor' boss, 54, who reportedly shelled out more than 6 million pounds for the three-bedroom suite to raise their son Eric, purchased the apartment close to the businessman's place, so that Silverman could see her eldest son Adam,7, at her will.
Lauren, 36, who gave birth to Cowell's first child four months ago, is a dedicated mother, and even though she couldn't work out things with her former husband, she would do anything to be near Adam.
Cowell's New York's East 78th Street home is an addition to his property collection which includes homes in Los Angeles, Barbados, London, and Dubai.
