Simon Cowell turns newborn son's nursery into 'little Britain'

Simon Cowell has turned baby Eric's nursery into 'Little Britain', making sure that his son never forgets his English roots.

Cowell girlfriend and baby's mum Lauren Silverman, 36, is American, but the 'X Factor' judge is adamant that Eric knows his British heritage, the Daily Express reported.

The 54-year-old has had London's skyline painted across the walls of Eric's bedroom, which features landmarks such as the London Eye, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.

A pal told the publication that Cowell is a true Brit and wants to make sure Eric grows up knowing he has a home in the UK as much as the States.

The source said there is also talk about sending Eric to school in the UK.
