Singapore River One, the place manager for the Singapore River precinct announces the return of the Singapore River Festival. This year, the Festival will commence from November 4th to 5th with the theme "River Connections".

Celebrating the culture, lifestyle and history of the Singapore River, the theme was chosen in celebration of how the river connects our past to the present and the Singapore River to the community.

For the first time ever, a tightrope will be extended across the Singapore River for the opening act, Crossings, an original production inspired and conceived by the story of the Singapore River itself. Jointly produced by French acrobatic theatre production, Underclouds Cie and local entertainment producer, Muse Inc., it will be Underclouds Cie's maiden performance in Asia.

Crossings blends tightrope acrobatics, dazzling choreography, music effects and multimedia projections, exploring the extraordinary theme of connections in all our ordinary lives.

Along the river, the Festival will host a variety of performances and activities across Clarke Quay, Boat Quayand Robertson Quay. Immerse in the spirit by partying to the tunes of the resident DJ at the Silent Disco, enjoying multi-sensory acrobatic acts at the Riverfront Carnival and witnessing the headline performance by Underclouds Cie at Clarke Quay.

Visitors at Boat Quay can enjoy Circular Spectacular - a street festival on Circular Road programmed by creative non-profit Hyphen, featuring live bands across different genres, roving acts by Australian performance artist Justin Shoulder, a Samba Batucada Band as well as a site-specific light art installation by digital artist FLEX.

There's something for all the family including puppet making and face-painting workshops, and kids cardboard and chalkboard playground. Robertson Quay turns into an open-air cinema and a mass workout area with the Quayside Cinema and Fitness Workshops by the River.

Those looking for a relaxing evening can enjoy a popular local film, "seven letters" while the energetic can work out at fitness workshops such as Kids Yoga, Barre Bootcamp and Pound Workshop.

The festival also sees the return of Singapore River (SR) Signatures, an award recognizing some of the finest dishes along the River. This year, the 21 winning dishes were handpicked by four local celebrity chefs, Anthony Yeoh, Bjorn Shen, Cheryl Koh and Nixon Low.

Restaurants serving up these delectable dishes will be dishing out promotions in celebration of the revelry happening along the River.

The Singapore River Festival is a free-for-all event with some ticketed workshops and activities.
