Six people, including five children, were killed in a house fire Friday in the Kot Addu area of Sanawan in Pakistan.
Rescue workers recovered the bodies of five children, ages ranging from one to 14 years old, and a 25-year-old woman from the wreckage of the house shared by two brothers and their families near the Pir Mitha Darbar shrine, reports Dawn.
District Police Officer (DPO) Awais Ahmed said that the fire started in a room with wood and plastic materials the brothers used to make screens for room coolers.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire.
