Skydance media and animation studio ZAG are collaborating to develop a live-action film and television content based on the animated series 'Miraculous
The project that is being produced by Skydance is expected to release in 2020. Noting the success of the TV series that airs in more than 120 countries and regularly bags top rankings in the kids 4-11 demo, Skydance media and ZAG made the announcement on Wednesday, Variety reported.
Commenting on the deal, Jesse Sisgold, president and chief operating officer of Skydance Media said that ZAG has done a tremendous job in creating and building 'Miraculous' into the massive pop culture sensation that it is today. He also said that Skydance is looking forward to partnering with them in transforming the 'Miraculous' universe into the world of live-action.
