South Africa captain Graeme Smith has admitted that his Test team, which is the No.1 in the world, is still not good enough to be compared with the 'great' Australia and West Indies teams that had dominated the world scene for many years in the past.

Smith scored a double century and led the Proteas to an innings-and-92-run win over Pakistan in the second Test with a day to spare to level the two-match series on Saturday, with the victory protecting South Africa's record of not losing a Test series away from home for seven years.

According to Sport24, Smith said that they still need to do a lot more with their performance on-field before they can be even be compared to great teams like Australia and New Zealand that dominated for many years in world rankings.

Meanwhile, Smith hailed their record away from home as being an 'extremely proud one' to have, adding that he does not think that many teams can travel as well as they do and still perform in all the conditions, the pressures, the environments that they face on the road.

According to Smith, they want to dominate and play good cricket to set a standard, adding that although they are still a long way from doing that, they are on the right path.
