Sofia Vergara is now a US citizen as she recently passed the US citizenship test with excellent grades.
The Colombian-born bombshell said in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel Live! that it was very difficult for her to get a place, even after working so long in America, but eventually she scored high in her US naturalization exam and was very happy about it, E! Online reported.
Vergara, who is the highest-paid female TV star, said that immigrants had a really hard life when they came to America, but when she landed here, everyone was nice.
The 42-year-old TV actress added that it was a very emotional moment for her when she cleared the exam.
