A Delhi Court on Monday extended Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA and former Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti's judicial custody till October 19.

Meanwhile, Bharti, who has been accused of domestic violence, has submitted a bail application in the Sessions Court, which is likely to come for a hearing today.

The Supreme Court had earlier rejected the bail plea of Bharti, asking him to approach a lower court.

Bharti, who was brought to the national capital by the Delhi Police on Saturday, has refuted the allegations levelled against him.
