Sonitpur attacks: NIA files chargesheet against four accused

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a charge sheet before the Special NIA court here against four persons accused of killing civilians at Sonajuli in Sonitpur district in December last year.

As per reports, all accused persons were militants of the banned National Democratic Front of Bodoland (Songbijit) faction.

Around 80 people were killed in the attack by militants on December 23 last year at different places of Assam following which the probe was handed over to the NIA.
