SP chief, BJP leaders files nomination in Uttar Pradesh
Samajwadi Party (SP) chief , Mulayam Singh Yadav, on Tuesday filed his nomination papers from Azamgarh constituency in Uttar Pradesh for parliamentary polls.
He arrived at Election Commission's office amid cheering and submitted documents to the returning officer.
In Gorakhpur and Deoria constituencies, leaders the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Yogi Adityanath and Kalraj Mishra also filed nominations papers, respectively.
"We are going to people on the agenda of Hindutva and development. I will work on these issues," said Adityanath in Gorakhpur district.
