Communist Party Secretary of Shanghai Han Zheng on Saturday arranged for a special vegetarian spread for Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the banquet hosted by him, which included many specialities of the city.
Ministry of External Affairs official spokesperson Vikas Swarup shared the information via twitter.
"Shanghai vegetarian specials in honour of PM @narendramodi. Menu at Banquet hosted by Mr. Han Zheng," he posted.
Among the dishes on the menu were double boiled bean curd soup, stewed porcini, pancake with vegetable, sauteed asparagus with lotus seed, vegetable in curry sauce with rice and chilled mango sago cream and fresh fruits.
