All Indian Women Congress President Shobha Oza, in a veiled attack on Narendra Modi, blamed him for the seat-related squabbles over Varanasi.
"Modi has always acted as a dictator, starting from Gujarat itself, and now, he is implementing the same strategy to sideline leaders like L K Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi within the party on the national scene as well."Oza said.
"Soon, the BJP is going to face the music, as he (Modi) has proved that there is a man who is running the show single-handedly." she added.
However, senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj rejected suggestions of their being any differences within the rank and file of the BJP over who would be the candidate contesting the general elections from the Varanasi constituency.
According to reports, Narendra Modi is likely to contest from Varanasi, which is currently represented by another senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi.
