Sri Lanka appoints new air force chief

Sri Lanka's President Maithripala Sirisena has appointed Air Vice Marshal Gagan Bulathsinhala as the country's 15th Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) chief.
The President's Media Division said in a statement that Air Vice Marshal Bulathsinhala will be taking over from Air Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke, who has reportedly been appointed as the Chief of Defense Staff.
