Steve Smith is now engaged to girlfriend Dani Willis

Wedding bells are all set to ring for Australian skipper Steve Smith as he got engaged to his girlfriend Dani Willis in New York.

The 28-year-old cricketer proposed Willis in a typical style by bending down on one knee and popping the question at the 'Top of the Rock', New York City's Rockefeller Centre rooftop.

Smith took to his Instagram account and posted a picture of the two, where Willis was seen flaunting that ring on her finger.

"Today I got down one knee and @dani - willis said YES," Smith wrote in the caption followed by the hashtag #engaged," Smith wrote.

Smith and his fiancee, who have been dating each other from five years, have been holidaying since Australia's early exit from the Champions Trophy in England, visiting Monaco, London and New York.

The Australian skipper will return to action when his side will travel to Bangladesh for a two-match Tests series beginning August 27.
