The 2017 New York Film Festival has lined up a roster of some great events and really influential people in the field of arts.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, this year's edition of NYFF has included premiere screenings of documentaries about Steven Spielberg and Bob Dylan, as well as a conversation with Kate Winslet.
The documentary handled by Susan Lacy, documents the notable career of Steven Spielberg.
The film spans from his early love of movie-making, while growing up in all-American suburbia, through his rise to fame with Jaws, to his establishment of a film-and-TV empire with DreamWorks, and beyond.
The documentary will feature the interviews of Hollywood A-listers like Francis Coppola, Brian De Palma, George Lucas, Martin Scorsese, Tom Hanks, John Williams and Spielberg's longtime DP Janusz Kaminski, as well as Spielberg's family members.
The festival also included the Bob Dylan concert film 'Trouble No More', directed by Jennifer Lebeau which features Michael Shannon. The movie will consist of concert footage from Dylan's "born again" period in the late 70s and early 80s.
The fest will also hold a special career-spanning conversation with 'Wonder Wheel' star Kate Winslet.
The 55th New York Film Festival is set to run September 28-October 15.
It will open with the world premiere of Richard Linklater's 'Last Flag Flying', close with the debut of Woody Allen's 'Wonder Wheel'.
