Miley Cyrus has admitted that she wanted to perform topless at the MTV's Video Music Awards.
The 20-year old daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus told MTV's 'Miley: The Movement' documentary makers that she really wanted to go topless for the Awards, and her twerking antics were "a strategic hot mess", the New York Post reported.
The former Disney star added that she "wants to have fun" and wants to be remembered just like her childhood idol Britney Spears, who made a cameo in 'The Movement'.
Cyrus cited the 31-year old American singer-songwriter's famous smooch with Madonna at the 2003 VMAs as the moment she hopes to replicate, and admitted that she wants to be "hot like Britney".
