One person was shot dead and four students were injured in a school cafeteria in the United States by a student who then killed himself, said local police in Marysville in Washington state in the US.
The shooting took place at Marysville Pilchuck High School near Seattle, reported the BBC.
Local media identified the shooter as Jaylen Fryberg.
Two of the injured ones were the gunman's cousins. Three of the victims have been seriously injured.
The deceased victim has not been identified as yet. The police have not yet said whether he or she was a student or a teacher.
