Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez's camp is considering legal action, Premier League arbitration and even putting in a transfer request after they feel let down over what they see as broken promises they claim were made if Liverpool missed out on the Champions League.

According to the Mirror, Suarez got a fantastic reception from Liverpool's fans in Steven Gerrard's testimonial on Saturday and the Uruguayan has respect for the supporters and his team mates but it is understood that the anger is at the hierarchy who he says promised by a gentleman's agreement to let him go to any club in the Champions League if an offer of more than 35 million pounds was made.

Suarez has also refused to give up on the 40 million pound clause which he believes entitled him to a transfer, although Liverpool are adamant that it only obliges them to inform him of an offer, the report said.

It remains to be seen whether Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers can keep a player who is so intent on leaving but they are unhappy with Suarez's advisers and Arsenal over the saga, the report added.
