At least 17 Iraqi soldiers were killed in separate suicide attacks by Daesh militants in Mosul on Sunday.
Six Iraqi soldiers were killed and four others injured after a bomber rammed his explosives-laden vehicle into Iraqi forces in northwestern Mosul, killing six soldiers and injuring four others, Anadolu news agency reported citing a local security official.
In another suicide attack, three soldiers were killed after bomber detonated his vehicle at anti-terrorism forces in Mosul's al-Najjar district.
The official said added that eight soldiers were also killed and nine others injured in two suicide bombings also killed eight soldiers and injured nine others in Mosul.
"The terrorist organization is using the bad weather conditions to carry out suicide attacks against Iraqi forces," the official added.
