After Sujoy Ghosh's spectacular short film 'Ahalya' storming on internet, the director has now clarified that his latest short film is not at all inspired by author Roald Dahl's story.
The blockbuster movie 'Kahaani' director tweeted that his 14-minute long film is not inspired by the Roald Dahl's story as because he is an author of children's books whereas his film was inspired by the Hindu epic 'Ramayana' with slight adult touch, and feminist twist.
The 49-year-old film director added that still he was amused with the fact that people have compared it with one of the greatest children's authors of the 20th century.
The Radhika Apte, Soumitra Chatterjee and Tota Roy Chowdhury starrer short film, which was released on Youtube on July 22 by LargeShortFilms, has received a lot of views and appreciation in a very short span of time.
