Castigating newly-joined Congressman Navjot Singh Sidhu for his remarks against the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal on Monday dubbed the cricketer-turned politician as a 'human bomb' which will sooner or later explode and cause damage.
Ridiculing Sidhu's assertion against the Akalis, Sukhbir Badal said the former will within a span of six months be speaking against the Congress courtesy his ego.
"Sidhu is a human bomb, which will explode and ruin things. He has a very huge ego. I guarantee you that in six months he will quit the Congress Party and will be seen speaking against Rahul Gandhi," said Badal while addressing a press conference.
Mocking Sidhu for calling the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kekai and the Congress as Kaushalya, Badal said that the ex-BJP leader keeps on changing his mother every second day.
"He keeps on changing his mother every second day. There could not be a worse person that Sidhu," said Badal.
Sidhu earlier in the day trained guns at the SAD and stated that the government, which was by the people, has now become a government for a family.
Sidhu, who joined the grand old party yesterday, lambasted Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal's government for ruining the state and said that his mission is redemption of Punjab.
"This is not my personal fight. This fight is for existence and respect of Punjab which is our pride. This fight is for redemption of Punjab. We must think that how did food bowl of India went bankrupt," Sidhu told a press conference here.
"A government, which was by the people, is now a government for the family. I will expose Badals. I am a soldier ready to fight for Punjab. Akalis were a good group. Now, it's just about a family," he added.
