Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who is leaving no stone unturned and treating his audience with hard hitting performances, has exerted himself this time.

The actor while shooting for the last schedule of his upcoming film 'Raabta', injured himself while performing a high octane stunt.

The film required Sushant to perform a number of stunts and the actor was seen indulging in high end workouts to prep for his role.

While performing one such high octane stunt sequence on his own, the actor tore a ligament in his right knee.

Speaking on his injury, Sushant said, "We practiced a lot and I could do the stunt properly everytime, but unfortunately on the day of the shoot it was pouring and the ground was slippery that caused the injury. I am glad that we could still finish the scene as planned."

The extent of Sushant Singh Rajput's journey has resulted in the doctors advising him to refrain from running or indulging in any kind of strenuous workout for a month.
