The Syrian Electronic Army (SEA) has hacked Facebook's domain record.
The SEA took to Twitter to announce the hacking, just days after the social networking site's 10th anniversary.
In a message posted on the SEA Twitter account, the group wrote that it owned Facebook.com, Mashable reports.

In a follow-up Twitter message, the SEA also claimed that it had changed Facebook's domain nameserver information.
However, later it upon further examination, it was revealed that the group was only able to change the email contact information on the company's Whois domain information page.
Users attempting to use the social networking site reported no problems with the service as a result of the SEA action.
