Terget CEO, President, and Chairman Gregg Steinhafel has reportedly resigned in the wake of a hack last December that affected nearly 110 million customers.
According to CNET, Target faced a massive data violation last year that left the personal data, such as names, addresses and credit card information of its customers open to hackers. Nearly 110 million customers were affected.
On Monday, Target announced that Steinhafel, who spent 35 years with the company, has resigned with immediate effect.
Meanwhile, John Mulligan, the retail chain's chief financial officer, will serve as interim president and CEO until a permanent replacement is chosen, the report added.
