Taylor Swift's latest album '1989' has emerged as the top selling album of 2014, as per Billboard, beating soundtrack for Disney's blockbuster hit 'Frozen' to second spot.
According to Nielsen Music, the 25-year-old 'Blank Space' star's album sold 3.66 million copies after just nine weeks on sale, and even though 'Frozen' held the top spot as most sold album for every other week in 2014, it finished out in 2nd place with 3.53 million copies in the final week, CBS News reported.
This is second time Swift's work has achieved victory as back in 2009 her album 'Fearless' had sold 3.22 million units to become the top-selling album of that year.
