One of Taylor Swift's 'girl squad' members Lorde recently received a special birthday wish from the pop-star in a handmade card, on her turning 20.
Swift took to her official Instagram handle to post a photo of a watercolour card she had handmade for the birthday girl.
The '22' singer took the opportunity to recall their first meeting years ago.
"Thank you for the music you make, the advice you give, the thoughts you provoke, and the way you've made my life more beautiful since the first day we met up in New York and ate burgers on a park bench and got attacked by squirrels," Swift captioned the picture.
"I. Love. You. So. Much. Ella." she concluded her post to Lorde, whose real name is Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor.
The 'Shake It Off' hitmaker had painted the number '20' in glittery purple paint on the front, with a wreath of leaves and flowers intertwined with the name 'Ella'.
Swift added gold stars throughout the canvas for a magical finishing touch.
The 'Team' singer was born in New Zealand but spent a great deal of time in the United States following her hit maker 'Royals' that is believed to have catapulted her career in a major way.
