RIP Hiddleswift! After three months of love and loads of snaps, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston have decided to officially call it quits.

Surprisingly, Swift is the one who initiated the end to their romance as Hiddleston wanted it to be more public, which she was not comfortable with, reports Us magazine.

A source close to the couple reportedly said that the 26-year-old pop star was "the one to put the brakes on the relationship."

"Tom wanted the relationship to be more public than she was comfortable with. Taylor knew the backlash that comes with public displays of affection, but Tom didn't listen to her concerns when she brought them up," the source continued.

The relationship between the 26-year-old pop-star and the 'Avengers' actor went public on June 15, when photos of the couple frolicking on the beach in Rhode Island hit the Internet.

However, the source added that as the the couple get along well, post break up they "will remain friends, but they just don't see it working romantically right now."

The 'Love Story' hit-maker moved on with the 35-year-old actor just two weeks after breaking up with ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris in June.
