Teen Newcastle player scores 'Hand of God' goal in FA Youth Cup match

A teenaged Newcastle United player has reportedly scored the most blatant 'handball' goal ever during a FA Youth Cup match with Chelsea at St James' Park.

This is the latest in a line of recent controversies for the club, whose manager Alan Pardew was banned for a record seven games after 'head-butting' Hull City player David Meyler.

According to Metro.co.uk, young midfielder Olivier Kemen, who plays in the club's under-18 squad, clearly used his hand to punch the ball into the net in scenes not too dissimilar to Argentine legend Diego Maradona's 'Hand of God' goal against England.

However, the report mentioned that the referee did not see the action and the goal stood, leaving Chelsea's young stars fuming as it levelled up the scorelines.

Newcastle's website said the goal 'had a hint of hand ball', in perhaps the biggest underestimation ever, although Chelsea won the match 3-2 in the end, the report added.
