Tehmina Janjua to be new Pak Foreign Secretary

Tehmina Janjua, who is presently serving as Pakistan representative to the United Nations, has been appointed as Pakistan's new Foreign Secretary.

According to the Foreign Office, Janjua will assume the charge as Foreign Secretary from the first week of March.

Janjua's appointment was approved by Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif after considering all names for the key diplomatic post, reports Geo News.

She will be replacing incumbent Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry.
