At least ten persons were hurt after groups of students and locals used hand grenades in a clash with security guards at the Hazara University's main campus in Mansehra on Thursday.

Students travelling in a Suzuki van reportedly started a fight with guards when they were asked to be searched for security purposes at the main gate of the campus.

According to the Express Tribue, the injured are being treated at the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital. Four of ten persons hurt are said to be in critical condition.
