In a major blow to the terrorist organisation Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, the Awantipora Police in collaboration with 42RR and 180 BN of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Tuesday busted a hideout of Burhan and his associates in Gulshanpora forest area of Jammu and Kashmir's Tral and seized cache of arms and ammunitions from their possession.
The hideout was found deep inside the jungle area, covered by pine forest.
The arms and ammunition that were seized from the hideout include one damaged RS Kenwood, one Ammonium Pouch, two IED boxes, 22 pistol rounds, 46 pikka rounds, and 396 AK rounds.
