A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) patrol party was attacked by terrorists at bypass crossing in Lasjan area in Srinagar on Saturday afternoon.
The terrorists hurled a hand grenade towards the CRPF patrol party. No causalities or injuries have been reported yet.
Since past few months, there has been a surge in the terrorist attack on the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir.
On August 3, two security personnel suffered minor injuries after terrorists hurled grenade on the CRPF party deployed at State Bank of India branch at Lal Chowk in Anantnag district.
