Father Bill Miller has written a book 'The Beer Drinker's Guide to God' that depicts the significance of alcohol and beer in revealing the true nature of God.
The writer, bar owner and Episcopal priest said that if Jesus had lived in Texas, rather than Palestine he would have turned water into beer and he would probably drink the local beverage of choice like Primo in Hawaii, Lone Star in Texas and scotch in Scotland, Fox News reported.
He added that there are all kinds of good gifts that God has entrusted to us that we can become addicted to so it is important to not throw the baby out with the bath water, and not to throw the beer out with the baptismal water.
Miller also revealed that there is a movement called 'Theology on Tap' in which ministers are trying to take the church to the pubs because some people might not come to church but they will definitely chat around the bars.
