'The Wanted' has reportedly been dumped by their record label after the band's third album 'Word Of Mouth' turned out to be "monumental flop" on the charts.
A source told the Daily Star that despite high hopes that the British band would rival One Direction as worldwide stars, it just hasn't happened.
The insider asserted that the album was a disaster from start to finish as it had no direction and was delayed for over a year due to problems.
The source insisted that no final decision has been made, but all promo for the album has been scrapped and no more singles are planned.
The band's European tour has also been scrapped and there are no plans to reschedule the cancelled tour dates, the insider added.
