Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are one of the most lovable and talked about couples of the entertainment industry. But, what is it that makes their relationship work?

According to the 'Baywatch' star, it is definitely 'respect'. "Truly this is what worked for me, he has to be someone who respects you," PeeCee told People magazine at the launch of a dating app. "By that, I don't mean makes coffee for you, not that. But someone who respects the hard work you put into your life."

"Who respects that if his work is important, so is yours," she continued. "Or if he makes choices that are important to him, so is your opinion. That's respect, and that's incredible to have."

The 36-year-old further said that everything becomes extremely easy as "you give each other credit for your intelligence, you give each other the benefit of the doubt because you trust each other. There's so much that comes out of that. Don't settle for less than that."

On Sunday, the bride-to-be's friends hosted a grand bridal shower, which was attended by Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o, Priyanka's mom-in-law-to-be Denise Jonas, and mom Madhu Chopra, among others.
