A Marlborough company has developed a pill that may help tackle the worldwide problem of overeating and obesity.
Tuatara Natural Products has recently launched a pill, called Satisfax, which contains extracts from grape skins and seeds that create a feeling of fullness, which should help with weight management, Stuff.co.nz reported.
Made of Marlborough-sourced natural grape and kiwifruit extracts, the bio-active ingredients slow down the rate of digestion of food, making people feel full after eating less.
Satisfax was now being sold online, primarily to New Zealanders, but orders are also coming in from Europe, North America and Australia.
