Three people of a family died and two others were injured after a boulder hit a car at Gamrolapul on NH-21 in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh.
The accident took place at around 1 pm on Friday.
Confirming the accident, Superintendent of police (SP), Bilaspur, Anjum Ara said that due to heavy rain there have been reports of landslides in the areas of district.
Adding further, she informed that a car on the way from local Patta village to Bilaspur has come under the land slide after which a big boulder hit the car.
The three deceased who died on the spot have been identified as Krishan Lal, Bimla Devi wife and Sukhdei. The two injured have been admitted to a local hospital at Bilaspur.
