Three militants were killed in an encounter with the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district on Wednesday.
During the encounter, two jawans and one Major also got injured.
The encounter began last evening as a joint team of the army and police began a search operation in the area after getting information about the presence of militants.
