Three robbers arrested after police encounter

As many as three robbers, who had broken into the house of a Ghazipur trader, were arrested after an encounter with the police officials.

Two of the accused were shot in their legs and later, were admitted to the Lohiya Hospital, the Superintendent of Police, Deepak Kumar, said.

At least two pistols, three domestic guns, a rod, an injection and a car were recovered from the accused, who had gone to Ghazipur's Bhootnath Market to perform the robbery.
