Three female students of Svs Medical College of Yoga and Naturopathy and Research Institute have allegedly committed suicide due to lack of basic infrastructure in the institute, said sources.
The three students, who belonged to the second year, jumped into a well near the college premises and held the college management responsible for their suicide in the suicide note.
Sources also say that the students had been protesting for more than a month over the lack of infrastructure, but it was only in the last two weeks, that the protest had turned vigorous.
Meanwhile, the police arrested the son of Institute Chairman, Shokkar Verma and have started investigation in this matter.
