Member of Parliament TKS Elangovan has alleged that corruption is rampant in the incumbent AIADMK government. He also asked for a higher level of investigation into the suicide attempt of one more engineer of the Agricultural Department.
"We need investigation into all of these issues. Corruption is rampant in this government. There is no action only corruption, no schemes only corruption, no projects for the welfare of the people, only corruption" he said.
He also expressed a lack of faith in the State Police and said that the part has "no faith in the State Police."
SS Krishnamurthy, former agricultural minister and M Senthil Kumar, Chief Engineer of Agriculture Engineering Department, were arrested on April 6th in relation to the suicide of senior engineer S Muthukumarasamy.
