Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) general secretary and West Bengal in-charge, Siddharth Nath Singh, on Friday said the Saradha scam and Rose Valley scam clearly show that the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress (TMC) has done in the state is to loot the poor and farmers.
"It clearly shows that the only work TMC has done in Bengal is to loot the poor, loot the farmers and do no development," said Singh.
"We have seen in Saradha and now we are seeing in Rose Valley that the TMC leaders, Member of Parliament, they all are involved," he added.
The BJP leader's reaction came after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) carried out a raid at Lok Sabha MP Tapas Pal's residences in Kolkata earlier on Wednesday in connection with the ongoing investigation into the Rose Valley Group.
