In a tragic turn of events, Shaktiganesh, a 12th class student, committed suicide fearing failure even before the results were out in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore district.
Shaktiganesh, a native of Periyanaicken Palayam, studying in a private school at Karamadai committed suicide at his house yesterday morning.
The boy hanged himself when his parents went out for shopping.
After reaching home, the parents found their son hanging. They immediately informed the police, who registered an FIR based on their complaint.
However, what is more heartening post this unfortunate incident is that the boy secured over 60 percent marks in the Class 12th examination.
