The bitter war between Tom Cruise and his former wife Katie Holmes has become serious, as some explosive emails have surfaced, accusing the actress of leading a campaign of dirty tricks against him.
Holmes has been accused of enlisting a close friend in a full-scale war to discredit the 'Top Gun' star, the Mirror reported.
Cruise's publicists have claimed that the 34-year-old actress persuaded Jeanne Yang, a stylist to some of America's biggest celebrities, to mount a "conspiracy" to trash her former husband to various US publications.
In a series of emails read out in court alleged that the 51-year-old actor was the victim of an orchestrated drive to discredit the movie star and that sensitive information about him was leaked.
Emails sent between August and September last year exposed the fierce rift between the couple which shows that Holmes enlisted the help of Yang.
